See you there.
Concrete Angels is a 60 minute independent documentary film,
about the under documented story of rolling culture in Montreal.
Covering 40 years of skateboarding intolerance. and the history
of some of Montreal’s most historical moments, which led to the
birth of a legendary spot called « The Pipe ». This film documents
the intimate heart of the locals at The Pipe, who eventually have
to battle to save The Pipe against a mutli-billion dollar corporation.
This film is about giving back to the skateboarders of Montreal who
have given so much to me. Enjoy!

wOw ! Good job. Le teaser me donne trop l’envie de visionner ce documentaire. Sacr. boulot héhé
I can’t wait until Sat. to see Big Rich’s movie……finally
the perfect place for the Premiere…!!!
Ri, are you sure you’ll be able to watch the movie this time ?
I’m there fosho !
The Elephant direct premiere was a fun time. I hope I miss this video while being there too
.
Hopefully the Concrete Angels will be for sale soon.
Je vais y pête pour sûre mon Rich!
Gremlin Decelles gnared the f%#k out of the ramp last night !!
Amazing montage Rich, but in my humble opinion, too manny key people were left out or forgotten to qualify this truly reprensentative of the « scene »
Big Rich your film is a true piece of art. true essence, pure realness reppin the world famous Big-O Pipe! and in my personal O-pinion all the Pipe Pioneers were represented to the fullest…underground no hype just realness..
Thanks everyone for being there. It was an honor to have so many friendly faces together at the same moment. I was truly touched by everyone and their reactions.
Unfortunately, in a 60 minute film you can not fit everyone. Respectfully that how it is.
However, the camera does not lie. I had the honor to film and edit those who were truly there. I told everyone for over seven years I was doing a film. Everyone had the opportunity to take part. Especially those from the scene, who were there battling to save the pipe for the future skateboard community in Montreal.
The movie was crazy, I’m glad I got to see it at the premiere, but I missed the begining …
Where can we see it again ?
It was a powerfull piece of urban art, tell the next generations
Good job guys, keep it raw !
Thanks Rich,
I’ve only been back in the scene for little over 2 years, I missed the battle to save the Pipe, it was great to see it and learn more about it. Many thanks and big respect to all you guys who worked hard to keep it alive. When I wanted to pick up skating again in April 2008, the Pipe was my first destination…If I had found a soccer field instead of the O, I probably wouldn’t have pursued skating.
when can we buy a copy…I need to show my kids.
Ride or die ! Long live the pipe !
When is the next AMBUSH bbq party ?
People skated, drank, and had a fun, then it rained. Thankfully the rain didn’t last long and was not hard. Drinking continued until the documentary began. Then it seems that I forgot all about the beer in my hands. Sick video for skaters and non skaters even. Thanks Big Rich for allowing us to enjoy your labour of love and the UA crew for the place to view it.
Here is a video clip of the session.
